Recently Sarah’s portfolio has extended to freelance design for a small publisher, working on both trade and consumer magazines.

Leigh McCann - Is our freelance writer who lives in Australia, with his Belgian partner An and their 2 dogs. He has collected militaria for over 20 years, with a focus on WW2 and post-1945 conflicts.

Leigh is a member of the Military Historical Society of Australia, Geelong Branch and the Geelong Military Re-enactment Group.

Stuart Gould is our staff photographer, working with many of the re-enactment groups on the circuit, his attention to detail and unique style make him one of the leading names in this arena.

Stuart Gould

Stuart Humphrey has over 17 years publishing experience, working in business to business and consumer market places.

With extensive knowledge of the advertising industry, he has worked on industry leading magazines with some of the largest publishers in the UK, including Northcliffe, Centaur & Trinity Mirror.

Working closely with media and creative agencies he has acquired wealth of knowledge and contacts within the industry and his passion is quite simply ‘selling’.

Stuart has re-enacted within the WW2 community for the past ten years.

John Leete

When it comes to award winning photography, London based photographer Chris Jelley commissions, sources locations and delivers high end results.

Chris has many commissions under his belt for advertising leaders including Ogilvy, Wieden & Kennedy, Penguin Books, & Masius.

An excellent resource to WWII Re-enactors Magazine, Chris commissions all of our PR and marketing imagery.

Lee Bishop

Lee Bishop, is our freelance writer, illustrator and cartoonist, from the United States. He is a second-generation historical re-enactor of various time periods since the age of five and has done WW2 events since 1989.

With degrees in Commercial Art and Communications, he has focused on military subjects and has been extensively published as an illustrator and cartoonist as well as a freelance writer. His research into cartoonist Bill Mauldin and war correspondents has been used in various publications, films and TV shows. He has appeared in films and TV segments, including the TV series “Mail Call.”

He also served with the US Army as an Ordnance Officer and had a hand in the creation of the first “Stryker” Brigade.



Sarah is our Design Director with over 15 years experience working on a wide range of projects from L’Oreal, Maybelline, Coral, Brewers Fayre, Mercedes, Rolls Royce and many more.

John Leete the magazines Features Editor, has been an accredited Journalist since 1984, winning the Total PR Programmes Award in the early 1990's.

Involved in Home Front Living History since 1990 he brings a wide experience base to the magazine, supporting various charities, events, educational projects, film and TV programmes.

Advising on a number of TV programmes his portfolio of work includes; Britain's Fire Service at War, Boats of War and he was the historical consultant for ITV/Colonial Pictures for a six part series Summer of 44, based on The New Forest at War DVD which he researched and compiled.
